i was back from YLA camp yesterday! i did have a lot fun during the camp, especially when we were in the loft! that place was just like a home to us, the loft has a very simple and nice! ^_^ the student leaders in ngee an poly is so damn cool especially the student leaders of Spartans they are BEST and they really ROCK!!! the food here serve there was totally fabulous. ^_^
Day 1
we went to loft to leave our luggage and took a bus to NP for our workshop but before the workshop we had a small tea break. the workshop last about 3 hours although it may seems long but this will depend on who is the speaker. in this camp our first speaker was Candice her workshop was like so 'animated' as she is just has so many action or exaggerate emotion really made our workshop very fun. then we had our dinner it was very surprising as i had pizza hut for dinner in a camp! OMG! don't you think that it is just to good to be true but that is true. haha!!! Next we when went to play treasure hunt although we don't really know the place but with the help of the map and our SLs we manage to get to all our destination! ^_^ but due to lack of time management and the planning of what to do we did not get to be the first one to finish it. >.<>
Day 2
early in the morning we got to eat nasi lemak it taste great! we made our way to NP for workshop again. Then our lunch we had KFC! after the lunch we had another half an hour of workshop then we went on practical we start to do a proposal for the fund raising for the needy pupils of the school. then we had our dinner, that dinner was very surprising. the theme was HALLOWEN! in a room that is very spooky and dark but it was exciting! our Ms Spartan(amanda) came in the first runner up. then we back to the loft to bath and then debrief and prepare for camp finale. ^_^
Day 3
we had some outdoor activities we made us practice the leadership qualities that we learn in the past 2 days workshop. then it's time for preparation of the camp finale! after that it was thew showdown, i think that SPARTANS is the best!!! ^_^ we, spartans we won the most charming tribe!!! ^_^ then is the emo moment we are going to break camp and everyone is taking pictures and wanting the SLs autograph and etc.
